There are over 150 prepositions in the English language. Prepositions are introducing words - like towards, amid, and off. These words are often difficult to teach to students with autism because they are abstract. So we created a free autism resource that is visual and has a manipulative component to help build meaning into prepositions.

In this activity students will get to put the preposition words where they belong which will reinforce what the words mean in a very tangible way. Choose between a doghouse, an igloo, a cave, or a van and have the students place the prepositions in their proper place! Instructions for assembly are included on the first page.
