Interview with Maura McCarthy (Urban Autism Solutions)

Today, I had the opportunity to meet and interview Maura McCarthy, the Executive Director for Urban Autism Solutions (UAS) located on the West Side of Chicago, IL.

Urban Autism Solutions is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to teaching job skills and helping young adults with autism become more independent and ready for employment.

During my interview, Maura shared what she has learned from the people they support, talking about her experience at UAS and why it is important to employ people with disabilities.
