To some extent, we are all vulnerable online. And just like individuals with ASD and other disabilities are prone to bullying in real life, the same concerns exist online.

Use today's free autism resource, The Internet Safety Plan, to help explain the rules of the internet and establish clear boundaries. Even post a copy next to the computer, and/or role-play some scenarios to ensure there are no gray areas. Is there anything we have left off the list that should be included? Like all teaching strategies for individuals with ASD, these resources are works in progress and your feedback helps improve strategies for the entire autism community.
