Teaching the "concept of finished" is one of the most important skills any individual with autism can learn. In fact, everything they do in life will be dependent on their ability to understand the beginning, middle, and most importantly end of an activity. Traditionally we teach this concept with a structured activity like this:

Put in sorting file folders

The student picks up the items from the container and puts them in the hole until they are all gone - then shows completion of the activity by putting it away. We have taken that same concept and put them into file folders, and given you four awesome themes as today's free autism resource! We have butterflies, food, farm animals, and space themes.
