Challenge: The transition from education to adult services is often referred to as “the cliff”, a time when autistic individuals and their families feel like they have little direction and understanding of what lies ahead. How can MA DDS better support autistic individuals and their families with this transition?
Solution: InfiniTeach interviewed various groups involved with the cliff to create an effective and scalable content-driven platform to empower and support individuals and their families in these uncertain times. Supports individuals continuing education with videos, slides, and quizzes.
The Infiniteach team prioritized learning about the Department's mission, service models, populations and challenges through interviewing various DDS and provider staff to direct this work. Their thoughtful and comprehensive approach lead to the development of a proposed platform to serve one of our biggest challenges.
